While Newburyport Art holds receptions for nearly all of its exhibitions, the Scenes of Newburyport reception will also serve as the NAA’s 75th Anniversary celebration. There will be remarks from Sean Reardon, Mayor of Newburyport, and Scott Simmons, President of the NAA Board. There will also be an unveiling of two new murals at Newburyport Art — one by Felipe Ortiz (Lead Artist of We Share One Sky) and another by Erin Bligh (NAA Artist-in-Residence). Cake and refreshments will be served to celebrate the exhibition artists and 75th birthday of Newburyport Art. The event is free and open to the public.
