Introducing the National Juried Show, juried by artist and educator Ben Sloat. This show received an impressive 375 artwork submissions — our largest response to an open call for art thus far! Of the 375 pieces, Sloat selected 110 pieces to be a part of this show.
Join us for an free opening reception and awards presentation on Friday, June 6th from 5:00-7:00pm!
Sloat had this to share about the artwork he selected for the show:
“It’s clear that the artists who have submitted their work have a real sensitivity to the nuances of change and the powerful presence of nature in their lives. Even if their subject matter is not the natural world, the sense of the power and poetics of nature often remains as a resonant aspect of their work.”
