Newburyport Art now offers Art Around Town! Metzy’s Cantina is exhibiting STICKS AND STONES — Reflections of Nature, a collection of paintings by NAA Artist N. Rosemary LaMontagne. Rosemary writes:
My oil paintings are inspired by my love of the changing colors and moods of the natural world. I love to watch the transformation of the marshes with the seasons, the time of day, the weather. The Beach Pebbles series is a response to the beauty of tiny rocks and stones that we find right under our feet. Painting is also therapy for me. Having Parkinson’s Disease makes creating art a challenge, but a challenge that sets me free to express the joy I find in the world. My travels throughout the US, Europe and South Africa also inspire my work, but I always turn to New England for my greatest inspiration.
Rosemary’s studio, PigsFly Studio of Art is located at 34 Pond St in Amesbury.
