Newburyport Art joins in on the Newburyport Art Walk!
Two events headline the day, led by artist members of the NAA. Each ties in wonderfully to the current Glass Perspectives exhibition — a unique and engaging show that’s fun for all ages. The galleries will be open 10am-5pm.
Special Events
10:00-11:30am (drop-in): Tina Rawson will lead a drop-in creative workshop for kids, exploring the stained glass medium using tissue paper. More information and an early sign-up form is available online. (Early sign-up is not required!) This session is free and all materials are provided. Recommended for ages 7+.
1:00-4:00pm (drop-in): Verne Orlosk will demonstrate a “wire-inclusion” glass technique (used in Heart and Soul) and answer any questions you may have about fused glass.
