NAA Artists Sara Demrow Dent and Cheryl Dyment open a shared show in the Sargent Gallery, April 27 through May 9.
Sara Demrow Dent’s acrylic and charcoal paintings are of wild nature with architectural line. She complements many of her artworks with original poetry, dealing with themes of time and family and influenced by her life in both Newburyport and Maine.
Cheryl Dyment’s abstract work exhibits freedom of gesture and experimentation with materials and color, all representative of her unrestrained joy with painting. Painting with oils and acrylics on canvas or paper while mixing in other drawing or painting mediums, her work expresses the energy, strength and clarity of being present.
You are invited to meet Sara and Cheryl in person (masked, socially distanced) at special extended hours on Friday April 30 and Friday May 7 from 5-7pm.
