Featured Photography Interest Group: Through My Lens

The Newburyport Art Association and NAA Photography Interest Group (PhIG) present Through My Lens, a vibrant exhibition of photographic excellence. The exhibition features nearly 200 photos by 40 local photographers. This distinguished group of artists have come together in celebration of the endless possibilities of photography, all exploring exciting themes and techniques in their work. The exhibiting artists include:

The group has also invited James Eves (of Cape Ann Giclee in Gloucester, MA) — who boasts an extensive background in classical fine art, printing, and digital imaging — to jury the artwork for awards. At the Opening Reception, the following awards were given:

All 40 exhibiting artists are members of the NAA Photography Interest Group (PhIG), the largest of the Featured Interest Groups at the NAA with approximately 120 members. The group is comprised of photographers from all walks of life — some younger and some older, some extremely accomplished and others just starting out. All members share the same focus: an intense love of the art and practice of photography with a keen interest in sharing it.

Reception (free and open to the public): Saturday, July 16th (5-7pm)
The NAA Galleries will also remain open for extended hours (5-7pm) on Friday, July 22nd.
