August 30, 5:00-7:00pm // Auction Exhibition Opening Reception
Get a first look at the auction artwork and meet the many wonderful artists behind the collection. This reception is shared with Featured Artist Rick Hamilton, who will have a solo show in the Hills Gallery.

September 13, 5:00-7:00pm // Special Event
Another great opportunity to meet and hear from the auction artists, this event will feature artist talks and refreshments.

Your support of the Auction, our largest fundraising event, will enable Newburyport Art to continue its mission of promoting and exhibiting members’ work, and providing art education and access to the visual arts for the entire community.

What to expect at the auction…

Newburyport Art’s Annual Art Auction & Party boasts an unforgettable evening for guests, and this year will be no exception! Some of the evening’s highlights include:

  • over 55 works of art & design available for competitive bidding from our live auction and silent auction

  • an additional number of non-art items available for silent auction bidding at the auction — offering experiences like a river boat cocktail cruise for 10 people, museum passes, gift cards, and more

  • raffle draw on the night of the auction; two tickets to the Celtics at the Cross Insurance Boardroom — tickets available for purchase in person only at Newburyport Art

  • a live painting by Artist Alan Bull (which will be for sale as one of the live auction lots)

  • delicious food and drink — including a signature cocktail!

  • our backyard Sculpture Garden space transformed with tents, lights, and fall decor that evokes the feeling of ‘fall equinox’
