I use ‘stonehenge’ paper. It’s forgiving. It allows my hand to explore, forgives my changes of mind and heart. It allows courage in fact, which seems suited given that it’s name references one of the wonders of the world. I like its posibility. This image is built from contrasts in hard and soft, transparent and opaque, dark and light, and references mother and prayer, loss, and acceptance, hope and belief, letting go and rebuilding.
