Description
I am simultaneously interested in the direct application and strength of pastel’s color, while feeling the fragility of its soft,powdery substance. It echoes life and encourages empathy within this combined energy and pathos. Margaret’s sculptural form is both public and introspective. In a more vulnerable state of undress, she retains her privacy.
