NAA ArtLink 2018 Scholarships
 NAA Artlink 2018 Scholarships for area schools graduating seniors have been posted in the Guidance Offices of the Newburyport High School, Pentucket Regional High School, Triton Regional High School, Amesbury High School, and Ipswich High School.  Graduating seniors must be planning to pursue art, art education, and/or art management at the college/university level.
In addition, the Hemphill Family Foundation is offering a very special opportunity to a rising junior or senior to attend the residential Summer Studio Program at the Massachusetts College of Art & Design – don’t miss out!

2018 Art Adventure Grant

The 2018 Art Adventure Grant has been announced!  The deadline for NAA Artist Members who wish to apply for the $1,500 grant to fund an art adventure anywhere in the world is Friday, June 29.  Please read on for all the application details, Art Adventure Grant Announcement 2018.  The NAA thanks The Hemphill Family Foundation for continuing to make this opportunity possible for its members.  Good luck to all applicants!

The NAA celebrated HERSTORY by welcoming Newburyport High School creative writers who, inspired by their teacher Deb Szabo and local poet Rhina Espaillat and by the art on view in our galleries created Ekphrastic poems.  Some of them have been posted in the gallery by the works that inspired them.   We have extended hours tonight to give you time to come down and check out this special twist to the shows!  Open Friday, March 16, 6:30-8:00p.m.

NAA Book Club

  The NAA Book Club now meets the second Thursday of the month (not the third).  The next meeting is now  scheduled for Thursday, April 12 (moved from March 8), 6:30-8:30p.m. and the reading assignment is A Piece of the World by Christine Baker Kline.  Contact the NAA galleries for meeting locations, 978.465.8769.
