The Colors of March takes inspiration from March as Women's History Month. For decades, the colors of white, green, and purple (and even a little gold) have come to be associated with March and honoring Women's History. This exhibition is centered around these colors in acknowledgement and celebration of this impactful month.

Newburyport Art presents The Maine Idea, an exhibition inspired by the themes of Maine in honor of Past President Jean Trim and her dedicated service to Newburyport Art, with a special posthumous collection of work by Christa Trim.

Newburyport Art presents Pleinly Noted, a Featured Artist solo exhibition by NAA Master Artist member Maria Nemchuk. On view in the Hills Gallery, this collection of over 30 gorgeous oil paintings focuses on the work Maria created en plein air from the early Covid pandemic in 2020.

The Watercolor Interest Group at Newburyport Art presents an exhibition at the Newbury Town Library, titled Joyous Watercolors. The group will hold two receptions where you can meet the artists: Wed, Nov 29 (4-7pm) and Sat, Dec 2 (12-2pm).

Journeying Well: Artistic Pathways is a 75th Anniversary special exhibition, generously supported by the Newburyport Charitable Bank Foundation and the Mass Cultural Council. Approximately 150 works of art in the exhibit highlight perspectives on the artistic and creative process, and artists have expressed their pathways and journeys in many forms, from literal depictions to metaphorical ones to the symbolic, abstract, and process-oriented.

Newburyport Art presents a featured solo exhibition from Master Artist Nancy S. Cahan. Out of the Fire: Expressions in Clay tackles a multitude of topics and emotions, utilizing the intense heat, fire, smoke, and fuming of raku-firing and saggar-firing.

Newburyport Art is honored to present a solo exhibition from Donald Jurney. Stop into the Hills Gallery to take in 59 stunning oil paintings from Jurney, a longtime supporter and Lifetime Member of Newburyport Art.

The current Member Spotlight is on NAA Artist Member Pat Kennedy-Corlin, who presents Canines of Cuba: A Fated Photographic Journey — a collection of canine portraits taken in Cuba during an emotional time of her life.
