Verne began her art career with a degree in graphic design. This brought her to work in the advertising industry. Mural painting and an educator in all fine art mediums filled her creativity. Working at the Toledo Museum of Art and the Currier Museum were the springboard for her professional studio. She grew up in Massachusetts, lived in New Hampshire to raise her family and now resides in Maine. Her passion for glass was introduced twenty-five years ago and is her medium of choice. She remains sharing her knowledge, as a fused glass artist, by teaching throughout the local areas and in her studio/gallery in Manchester, NH. The exhibiting of her glass work as well as her willingness to share art in any form, has kept her involved with organizations throughout New England.
