Open Studio Figure Study, Drop-in – Ongoing

OPEN STUDIO FIGURE STUDY DROP-IN WEDNESDAY EVENINGS, 6:30-9:30pm

It's  back, with a twist! Wednesday evenings Open studio figure study drop in workshop will run 6:30- 9:30pm. There will be weeks in the NAA’a calendar when the workshop will not meet due to logistical conflicts and the NAA will provide appropriate notice. Although drawing is steadfast, we will welcome other media such as oil, acrylic, and watercolor (no toxic media or turps will be allowed/OMS only). We will be adding more props like hats, robes, drapery for additional narrative. These vignettes will alternate bi-weekly with the usual figure study. Along with these changes we would also like to expand on the workshop by adding a further educational opportunity with discussions about different figure artists (i.e. Lucian Freud, Eric Fishl) and their techniques as well as group critiques of our own work. This additional meeting will be held monthly (time/date TBD by the group) and open to all members.
Fees for the drop-in sessions are: $18 per meeting for non-NAA members $15 per meeting for NAA members (membership must be current) $10 per meeting for students* or seniors *students under the age of 18 must complete a Permission Form as well as an Emergency Contact Form. For questions, contact Adrienne Silversmith at adrienne@outlook.com
