Featured Interest Groups
The NAA provides a gathering place for artists interested in meeting with other artists working in particular mediums. A variety of interest groups meet at the NAA and have the opportunity as groups to show their work in the galleries. In order to participate in a Featured Interest Group exhibition, artists must be current members of the NAA. Please keep in mind that each Featured Interest Group has developed its own mission & guidelines regarding participation, membership, and exhibition opportunities.
Band of Brushes
Dorothy Aham is the current leader of the Band of Brushes. There are ten exhibiting members. However, anyone can be placed on their master list for notifications of weekly painting sites. They meet every Tuesday, 9am to 12noon during the spring, summer and fall. During the winter months, they sometimes get together to visit various museums.
For any questions or more information, please contact Christine Molitor Johnson for more information.

Members of the NAA Watercolor Interest Group meet monthly to pursue our love of watercolor — its beauty as well as its various approaches and techniques. We learn, paint, grow, and exhibit together. Monthly meeting fourth Monday of the month, 3:15 – 5:15 PM at NAA unless other wise posted. Contact: Peggy Poppe, or ask to join our group Facebook page by clicking Watercolor Facebook
