  • Leaving a Legacy – Planned Giving

Make sure that arts will always endure.

The Newburyport Art Association has been a large part of the cultural life of Newburyport and the region for many years.  Providing a venue for artist and visitors to advance the visual arts is the NAA’s primary mission.  Through it’s Exhibitions, Educational offerings and Outreach programs it has become a valuable community asset.

We are, therefore, asking you to take part and help in this mission by remembering the NAA in your estate planning.

    Estate planning allows you to:

    • Honor your personal beliefs and passions by making your wishes known
    • Benefit a charitable organization while still caring for your loved ones
    • Help ensure that the future of the arts in the Newburyport area is secured for future generations

There are multiple options available to donors and we would be pleased to explore them with you any time.

If you are interested in naming the Newburyport Art Association as a beneficiary of your planned giving, please contact Sara Demrow Dent at [email protected]

The Sterns’ Legacy – a Visionary Gift

Maria and Philip Stern captured their love for the arts and imagined the possibility for future generations by naming the NAA as one of two primary beneficiaries of their bequest.  In 2011, this bequest became the seed for future growth with the creation of an endowment at the NAA.

Support the Arts… Donate to NAA New Dawn, Capital Campaign

In operation since 1948, the NAA has become the cornerstone of the greater Newburyport vibrant arts scene with over 600 artists and non-artist members from around the region.  The NAA’s mission includes art exhibitions, education, and community outreach to keep the arts accessible for all.

Due to the COVID-19 crisis, we made the very difficult decision to not only close the doors to the NAA galleries for the foreseeable future but to lay off our wonderful and dedicated staff. It saddens us to leave such a void in the arts scene.

If you have the ability, please donate to our Capital Campaign.  Our goal is to raise $50,000 to cover operating expenses and prepare for the reopening of the NAA.  To Donate,  click Count Me In!

The Newburyport Art Association is a 501(c )(3) non-profit organization.
