Emily Corbato has exhibited throughout the United States. Her work is in the collections of MIT, Computer History, and Fitchburg Art Museums, Yivo Archives, Merrimack College, Brandeis and Boston University and private collections throughout the country. Cambridge Historical Commission has archived Corbato’s Cambridge works. She is represented by Davis Orton Editions and has been an Artist/Scholar at Brandeis Women’s Studies Research Center since 2001.
Corbato works from her studio on Plum Island where she was inspired to become a photographer 25 years ago. She performed extensively as a pianist before photography captured her heart and took her artistic spirit in a new direction.
