Robin Thornhill is an impressionistic/realistic landscape painter from Danville, NH. Art has always been a piece of her life. She attended Massachusetts College of Art, and has taken many courses over the years including life drawing at Boston Museum School, design classes and advanced drawing courses. It wasn’t until she took a landscape oil painting class in the fall of 2006 that she found her true passion. She soon discovered pastel painting, still life painting, and, most recently, portrait and figure work.
She is currently a member of the Newburyport Art Association and an original member of the Band of Brushes, a plein air group based out of Newburyport, MA. She has a studio space at the Artists’ Muse Studios in Amesbury, MA where she offers ongoing oil, pastel, and acrylic classes.
