About Cheryl Dyment


Cheryl lives and works out of her Valley Farm Studio and home in Middleton, MA. Her landscape work, while respectful of tradition, is clearly contemporary, expressing a deep appreciation of mood, energy and atmosphere while imparting a visceral understanding of place. She is a juried member of the National Association of Women Artists, New York, NY, and was lately awarded a prize by juror George Nick in an international show, who wrote that her work demonstrated “confidence and lyrical skill,” A recent accomplishment is her completion of a series of 15 paintings based on a memory of a near drowning-incident, and titles show “The Importance of Floating… and Other Lessons.”
