Other than a basic photography class at Hunter College High School in Manhattan (of which I remember the smell more than anything), I have no formal training. After moving to Boxford in 2006, I began getting back into photography. In fall of 2008 (following in my husband’s footsteps) I started entering hurried shows at Newburyport, Concord and NH Art Associations. In spring of 2011, I was juried into membership at NH Art Association.
My stepson describes my style as “close ups of something which would otherwise be considered unattractive” and that certainly covers a lot of my work (dead snakes, anyone?).
I hope something catches your eye and makes you look at things in a slightly skewed, new way.
