This piece is one of 3 to form a triptych. There are seven magpies total to complete the first part of the traditional rhyme. All 3 pieces of the triptych are being entered in this show. Pieces may be hung following each other horizontally or on top of each other vertically.
Materials: acrylic on board with copper tape, wire, wood, typed text on vellum.
In Britain, magpies signify the future. By counting how many roost on a tree or fence, one can determine what will happen in their life.
