- Continuing the Journey in Painting

You will guided on how to choose your own color palette and help take the mystery out of color mixing with her 2-color technique. The goal of this class is for students to reach a greater understanding color and light and it’s effect on atmosphere. A more limited palette is encouraged in order to create more cohesive paintings.
You will be taught the principles and elements of good design and emphasize the importance of color value and contrast to achieve harmony. These techniques/ understandings apply to any genre/subject whether it is figure, landscape or still life painting.

For Beginner Levels- A supply kit with the essential paint colors and brushes only will be available for purchase through the instructor. If you choose this option, the fee will be paid directly to the instructor prior to the start of the class. Quality supplies are essential to a successful painting.

About the Instructor
Rosalie holds a BFA and MA degree and is a Graduate Supervisor for Tufts University and The School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, MA. Rosalie is a national award-winning artist and is a juror, lecturer, and instructor for various art organizations in the northeast. Rosalie is a juried artist member of The Copley Society of Art, Rockport Art Association, North Shore Art Association, where she served as a Trustee and Officer, National Association of Women Artists; NY & MA and Oil Painters of America. Rosalie Sidoti’s work is included in corporate and private collections.
